2008 World Series: Weekend Update

The second weekend at the 2008 World Series has come and gone and it saw some members of Team PokerStars Pro picking up some enviable cashes.

Team PokerStars Pro Victor Ramdin scored two in-the-money finishes this weekend. After picking up his first money-finish in the $1,500 no-limit hold'em six-handed event, he turned right around and monied in the $1,500 limit hold'em contest.

Chad Brown is spending his first summer as a Team PokerStars Pro in fine fashion. This weekend, Brown recorded his third money-finish. His third cash was a 23rd place finish for $16,243 in the $10,000 mixed championship.

Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu looked poised for his first final table of the 2008 World Series. He finished just short of it with an 11th place exit in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud championship. He picked up $33,417 for his effort.

As we begin a new week, Team PokerStars Pro Barry Greenstein is headed into Day 2 of the $2,000 Omaha Hiigh-Low event with a sizable stack. We wish him luck today as he goes back to battle in hopes of making it to tomorrow's final table.
