There may be no greater grind than the World Series of Poker. The seven weeks of ridiculous beats, 15-hour days, and unplumbed depths of degeneracy can take its toll on the toughest of souls. And that's just for the poker media.
For the players, it's almost impossible to comprehend. People take to weeping, drinking, or acting so psychologically ripped they could probably beat a murder rap with the right lawyer.
As the $50,000 HORSE players prepare to take their 90-minute dinner break, we thought it might be good to get some advice from the people who survive the World Series every year and do it without getting arrested or being committed.
