WSOP 2012: Randy Lew's luggage

wsop-130x100.pngRandy Lew can almost fit in the average-size airplane carry-on luggage. Almost. This is a fact. I know it, because I've seen it. You can, too. In a second.

What you should first know is that Lew likes making silly videos. You should also know that he took a brief trip home last week before returning to Las Vegas and the 2012 World Series of Poker. His return meant his second cash in this year's Series.

Randy Lew: The carry-on king

So far, Lew has finished in the top 10% of 2,302-player Event #19 field and the 393-player $2,500 Mied Hold'em tournament. Now, he's back in Vegas, presumably with everything he managed to shove into his luggage.

That's what you'll see in the video below. Randy Lew: two-time casher at this year's WSOP, getting his silly on.

As you probably know, Lew is member of Team PokerStars Online. While not represented in huge numbers at the WSOP this year (they are, after all, people who crush online as opposed to live), Team Online is doing alright for itself.

Here is how Team Online has fared at the WSOP so far this year.

Randy Lew
(Event #19 $1,500 NLHE 196/2302 -- $3,076)
(Event #35, $2,500 Mixed Hold'em 30/393 $5,195)

George Lind III
(Event # 3, $3,000 HUHA, Quarter finalist out of 317 -- $9,644)
(Event #33, $1,000 NLHE 148/2,795 -- $1,836)

Gabriel Nassif
(Event #27, $1,500 HORSE, 52/889) $3,876)
(Event #31 $1,500 NLHE 42/2,811 $12,559)
(Event #35, $2,500 Mixed Hold'em 43/393 $4,229)
(Event #38, $1,500 NLHE 230/2,502, $2,771)

Mickey Petersen
(Event #9 $1,500 NLHE Re-Entry -- 292/3,404 $2,895)
(Event #28, $2,500 $-Handed NLHE -- 10/750 -- $25,252)

Petersen, obviously, is having the best Team Online WSOP so far. Tonight he aims to do even better. He's among the final 60 players in the $3,000 NLHE Shootout.

Best of luck to Mickey tonight, and even more luck to Randy if he's still stuck in that suitcase.
