Probably the most familiar face at this year’s final table, China’s Zhenru Xie was crowned the MPC21 Red Dragon champion over a field of 808 players in August 2014. Xie tells us he’s a CEO who has been playing poker for 10 years. He said he began playing in casinos and now plays stakes up to 10,000 pounds.

Xie says that it was luck that has brought him to this point in the tournament, but looking at his past results we think he might be underplaying his ability.
