Home / Uncategorized / Attention UK poker fans: Coverage of the PCA 2018 starts on Channel 4 tonight

There’s a welcome addition to the TV schedule for poker fans in the UK tonight. Coverage of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2018 returns to Channel 4.

Now, in the old days that used to mean a late night and a sleepy commute to work the next morning. So good news, but not without a down side.

But that was then. Set the recorder thing, download it, and watch it at your leisure.

Here are the details you’ll need.

Episode 1 is tonight, Wednesday 17 October, at 12.35am (which is technically Thursday morning).

The PCA played out in January of this year at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. The $10,000 buy-in makes it one of the highlights of the poker calendar.

The Main Event was played by 582 players, combining for a prize pool of more than $5.6 million. The winner walked away with more than $1 million, and a Platinum Pass.

And while we won’t give anything away – if you’ve been lost in the wilderness for the best part of a year a spoiler would come as an extra kick in the teeth — each episode, as well as the finale itself (shown in a few weeks) is packed full of action.

To give you an idea of exactly what we mean, here’s a sneak peak of what’s coming up…

And you can find out more about tonight’s episode on the Channel 4 website

So, set the box for 12.35am on Channel 4 tonight, and get ready to download in the morning.

Or do things old school, and treat yourself to a late night.
