PokerStars Ambassador Chris Moneymaker is out on the East Coast of the U.S. right now as part of the Moneymaker PSPC Tour. The latest stop was New Jersey, where PokerStarsNJ.com was hosting its third annual NJCOOP series, and the world champ bagged himself a couple of titles while he was in the neighborhood.

Two days, two NJCOOP titles for PokerStars Ambassador Chris Moneymaker

Moneymaker’s big NJCOOP run started on Wednesday with Event #14, a $100 Progressive KO NLHE tourney. He overcame a field of 242 players to win the title, defeating CrazylKilla heads-up for the title and $5,036.12 ($2,139.88 in prize money, $2,896.24 from bounties).

That would’ve been noteworthy enough on its own, but then Moneymaker repeated himself on Thursday. He defeated heads-up opponent Dan “R@zzleDazz1e” DiZenzo and a field of 64 others in Event #16, a $300 6-max Eight-Game mixed tourney, to earn his second NJCOOP title and $5,544.

The champ moves back to live poker this weekend at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, for the next installment of the Moneymaker Tour. If you’re in the area, you can still get in on the action.

Two of the five Day 1 flights have already been played but two more are running today, October 5th. A final Day 1 flight runs tomorrow, October 6th, with Day 2 crowning a champion sometime late on Sunday, October 7th. Check Mohegan Sun’s Moneymaker PSPC Tour page for full details.

After that it’s on to Live! Casino in Baltimore, Maryland, from October 10-14 for the last East Coast stop on the tour.
