One…wait…no, TWO more days of SCOOP. The Main Event is finishing up, and PokerStars is making good one some missed opportunities. For more, read below…
DAY16
The headlines
It looks like another day when PokerStars is going to make a millionaire, and right now, onetime PokerStars Caribbean Adventure champion Harrison Gimbel has the best shot at making that happen. He leads the $10,300 high buy-in Main Event. That is, in case you haven’t been keeping up, the one that has posted a $1.35 million first place prize. More on that below.
What’s more, while the Spring Championship of Online Poker was supposed to wrap today, there are still more tournaments to play. But first…
Main Event Standings
This is one hell of a final table, folks. The $10,300 SCOOP Main Event was always going to be a good one, but this final table is one worth watching. With players guaranteed $40,264 and looking at a $1.35 million first prize, you could find worse entertainment than watching this play out in a few hours.
Former PCA champ Harrison Gimbel is on top, but look at who else he’s fighting.

They will be coming back to a 35,000/70,000/8,750 blind level, so there is still quite a bit of room for movement. Get your popcorn popped and bets down.
Meanwhile, the medium and low buy-in events are also down to their final nine players. The medium buy-in event will be paying $787,312 to the winner. The low buy-in Main pays out $221,516 to the winner.
Here’s what those tables look like before the re-start.
