So it was for ‘The Bear’, who found A♣ A♠ and was somewhat chuffed to find himself in a pre-flop raising war with Roberto Romanello. It ended with Barry’s 16,400 in the middle with his aces against Romanello’s 7♣ 7♦ – a perfect spot for a double-up, and the 5♣ 2♥ K♠ A♥ 3♠ board obliged.
That puts the Team PokerStars Pro up to the 35,000 mark, a far more comfortable place sandwiched in the following chip counts.
