With players back from a 45 minute dinner break the second half of day 1a begins. Shortly before the break a few minutes watching Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki proved a good glimpse of how his day is going – a careful accumulation of chips to the 18,000 mark, re-raising a player off a hand to keep up his momentum. While on the table along from the Pole, PokerStars Super Nova Allan Baekke jumped into the chip lead with 38,000, sending another player to the rail in the process when he ran A-K into Kings but caught his ace on the river.
Horecki has proven to be one of the new faces on the EPT block of late, notably in London where he finished in third place for more than £303,000. Earlier today he was happy to fall prey to the video blog team, talking to them about his year so far and what lies ahead…
