Home / Uncategorized / EPT Deauville: A quick €52,400 for Jose Quintas as he takes down €2k turbo

Do you recognise Jose Quintas’ name? Does it ring any bells? Maybe it strangely reminds you of the smell of suntan and the taste of conch (or more likely beer and rum). They’d be a reason for that: Quintas finished 25th in this year’s PCA Main Event for $47,000. This EPT Deauville side event win pushes him up to 6th on the all-time money list of live tournament winnings for Portugal with $281,290.

Runner-up Rui Fereira’s maiden live cash leapt him straight into 80th with his €29,950 payday. There was a little compensation for both Jeffrey Hakim and Alain Goldberg who min-cashed. Hakim has just bust from the EPT Deauville Main Event in 8th and Goldberg had bust out the High Roller the night before – also in 8th – for €28,500.
