If you listen closely, you’ll hear a light sipping and the dulcet British tones of James Hartigan as he has an afternoon tea and warms up his voice. Listen a little closer and you’ll hear a loud hacking and some random expletives. That’s Joe Stapleton, obviously, also warming up his voice. The odd couple is preparing itself for the first EPT Live broadcasts of the ninth season.

In less than three weeks, EPT Live will hit the air from Barcelona. On August 19th, Hartigan and Stapleton will meet again to broadcast the EPT 9 Barcelona Super High Roller, a €50,000 star-studded extravaganza.

Six days later, Hartigan and Stapleton will be on a one-hour delay for the EPT9 Barcelona main event. Why the one-hour delay? Well, this one will be a cards-up broadcast, so we can all follow along omnipresently, if you will.

If you don’t feel like listening to Hartigan and Stapleton for the main event (and shame on you for that…), the broadcast will also be simulcast in German, Italian, Spanish, and Russian.

We’ll remind you more about the broadcast as it gets closer. In the meantime, you can watch full replays of past action on the PokerStars EPT page on PokerStars.tv.
