Morning has broken on day three of the EPT London, and whilst the city awakes for the first of two days of weekend relaxation there’s an altogether different atmosphere around the confines of the Victoria Casino card room –or at least there will be in a few hours time. That’s when the surviving 32 players, gladiators from a battle weary field of 596 just two days ago, begin the hand by hand conflict necessary for them to win a place on the final table tomorrow.

Last night Canadian Philippe D’Auteuil left this place as leader and all eyes will be on him today as he hopes to extend that power at the expense of others. But as we’ve seen before the chip lead can be a poisoned chalice of sorts, a burden to some and easily surmountable if the fickle poker Gods are in a mood to mess with you.

One player with plan to ascend the chip count list is Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki, the last remaining Team Pro, who finished last night on 102,000. The Polish pro was welcomed into the team at the World Series earlier this year so as one of the newer members is perhaps not as well known as his well travelled and honour laden team mates. Step forward the PokerStars video blog team, who caught up with the man himself to find out more.
