A huge field so far in the €1k Single Re-Entry with 290 players having registered (or re-entered). Registration is open until 8.55pm tonight (the end of the dinner break after level 4).

Those involved so far include Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki, Christopher Frank, Heinz Kamutzki, Hugo Lemaire, Balazs Botond, EPT winners Michael Tureniec, Anton Wigg and David Vamplew, Leo McClean and former EPT Player of the Year Jan Bendik. This event is expect to go on until around 1.15am tonight with the survivors returning tomorrow at midday to play the tournament to a conclusion.

The €3k Turbo PLO final table

Just eight players are left in the €3k Turbo PLO with Jorryt van Hoof busting out in 9th place, EPT winners Frederik Jensen and Joao Barbosa are still in the mix with €59,700 there for the winner. They’ve also reached the final table of the €200 PLO Turbo Deepstack where just six players remain including €200 Seniors Event winner Peder Behr. First prize there is €5,150.

There are 27 players in the €1k Limit Stud Championships, Dzmitry Urbanovich is in the hunt, looking for his fourth title here at the EPT Malta Festival. The Polish player also leads the current Player of the Year race ahead of Davidi Kitai.

Finally, the €2k is down to 16 players with Team PokerStars Pros Vanessa Selbst and Eugene Katchalov still in and chasing a first prize of €119,000. Swiss player Eric Joss leads with Alessandro Borsa of Italy in second place.
