More typical high speed action with ten eliminations in the first half an hour.

Henri Kasper just boosted his chances of surviving a table that features Team PokerStars Pro Joe Hachem, Maria Ho and EPT winner Andreas Hoivold, doubling up after pushing in with pocket aces and running them into a weaker pair of nines. “I had one of those” said Hachem, pointing at the nines before the board was dealt. “I had one of those” said Hoivold pointing at the aces.

Isabelle Mercier earlier this week

Isabelle Mercier is in a similar position, starting today with 91,500 and looking for more. With two limpers she looked at her cards like she was unwrapping a christmas present, hoping to find something really great. She found something, pushing in on the big blind for 86,500, keeping her cards hidden under her hands. Stephen Houghey folded, so did Georges Yazbeck next to him – enough to take Mercier up to 100,000.
