Home / Uncategorized / EPT Monte Carlo: Exit Pagano
Luca Pagano’s tournament just crashed to an end in spectacular fashion. The Team PokerStars Pro, who already has an final table under his belt this season as well as ten prior cashes on th tour, found pocket kings and shoved his stack into the middle. Frenchman Ludovic Lacay, who has been playing at his best since day one, called with ace-jack.
Things looked good enough for Pagano on the 9-5-2 flop, and even on the 7 turn. But I may have already telegraphed the rest – an ace on the river leaving Pagano with nothing and Lacay a stack close to 1.8 million.
