EPT Prague confirmed for December 2021!
For 13 straight years between 2007 and 2019, poker players from around the world spent the lead up to Christmas in charming Prague, Czech Republic, playing at the European Poker Tour (EPT).
We’re now thrilled to announce that in December 2021, EPT Prague will return to its usual festive spot for an exciting 12-day poker festival.
Running from December 8 – 19, 2021 at the Hilton Hotel Prague, EPT Prague will have everything you’d expect from one of the most fun stops on the poker tour, including an EPT National event, an EPT Main Event, and an EPT High Roller.

WIN YOUR WAY TO PRAGUE
You’ll be able to win your way to EPT Prague through online satellites, which start running this Sunday (October 3) on PokerStars from as little as €1.10.
Five packages worth €7,200 each, which include eight nights’ hotel stay, travel, and buy-in to the Main Event, will be awarded every week until the start of the event. Satellites awarding packages will also be up for grabs in France and Spain starting on October 24.

The EPT Prague Main Event has seen some big winners in its storied history, including future World Series of Poker Main Event champion Hossein Ensan (2015) and former Team PokerStars Pro Kalidou Sow (2017).
Mikalai Pobal: Two-time champion!
Most recently, in 2019, it was Mikalai Pobal of Belarus who took down the EPT Prague Main Event for €1,005,600, becoming only the second player in history (after Victoria Coren-Mitchell) to win two EPT Main Events (Pobal also won EPT Barcelona back in 2012).
As for the High Roller, Japan’s Tsugunari Toma was the most recent €10K winner, outlasting a big field to take home €523,120 in 2019.
Check out our NEED-TO-KNOW ABOUT EPT PRAGUE from 2019, with the most crucial update being the news that the event will be held in accordance with all COVID-requirements. That’s in order to provide a safe environment and ensure that both players and staff feel comfortable when they attend the event.
Everyone entering the casino must wear a face mask, have a temperature scan and show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test. Social distancing will be in place, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be available, sanitisation stations will be around the casino, and players and staff are asked to sanitize regularly. There will also be enhanced cleaning at the tables and around the casino.
