Home / Uncategorized / EPT11 Barcelona: The rise and rise of Fedor Holz

This €50,000 Super High Roller tournament has brought several new faces to our attention. One of them, Fedor Holz, from Germany, bears all the hallmarks of someone recently graduated from the online tables to the top of the world — but his actual story is even more remarkable than that.

Holz is indeed an online player, but has experience and maturity well beyond his years. He was at the forefront of a charity drive last year raising money for worthy concerns in Chile, and despite describing himself as a “mid-rank” poker player, is already staking other players into tournaments.

Sarah Grant, of PokerStars.tv, learned some more about this extraordinary young player from the man himself.

Day 2 of the €50,000 Super High Roller is under way. Head to the main Super High Roller page for full coverage from the tournament floor.
