The PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final is being streamed live as live on a one hour delay. It’s the end of the season, the eighth of European Poker Tour history, and we think that deserves a little fanfare, or a tinny rendition of the the ‘Last Post’ at the very least.
Back in August last year Ronny Kaiser took down the first event of the season in Tallinn, Estonia. A field of 282 players gave Kaiser a €275,000 pay packet and finally crowned a player who has been knocking on the door for some time. Today a thirteenth player will win an EPT title and the largest purse of the year, a mammoth €1,500,000 (assuming that no deal is made).
