Mixed game specialist Matthew Ashton won the €5,300 8-Game here in Monaco beating, among others, Ole Schemion (who had won side event already) and fellow Brit Luke Schwartz. Ashton finished 6th in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship at the 2011 WSOP for $101,813, just one spot behind Tom Dwan.
