EPT regular Ruben Visser won the Season 9 EPT London title topping arguably one of the toughest final tables to have ever graced the tour. The Dutch master had to get past, among others, Team PokerStars Pro Theo Jorgensen, previous runner-up Steve O’Dwyer, and undisputed tournament legend Chris ‘Moorman1’ Moorman. Following a three-way deal Visser collected £595,000 – the largest score of his career and his fifth six-figure cash.
Jorgensen, who was making his tournament return following the violent home invasion of last December, was notching up his third appearance at an EPT final table and was also attempting to complete his Triple Crown. Unfortunately for the Dane (3rd on the Danish all-time money list) the result was the same as his two previous outing: he finished 4th.
