There are loads of side events here in Prague. Everywhere you look there’s a table with a Kevin-this or a Dan-that grinding some tournament. The €2,100 side event that starts on Day 2 of the Main Event got a lot of runners in Sanremo and the trend has repeated itself here with 306 players buying in to create a €593,640 prize pool with €154,300 for first (32 places will get paid).

Leading the overnight charge was Danish nutjob Simon Ravnsbaek who was well ahead of the field with 282,500 (with 52 players remaining). Following in his footsteps was Alex Bilokur with 165,200. The Russian is in form at the moment having won a turbo side event at 5am yesterday morning.

The action has been fast and furious so far and that 52 players has been hacked down to 35 already.
