EPT9 Prague: Evgenia Lozovaya takes the women’s crown

December 09, 2012

The women’s events at EPTs may not gather the brightest spotlight but that’s not to say they’re not hotly contested. This time round it was Russian Evgenia Lozovaya who claimed the title beating Anna Yamshchikova heads-up to claim the €4,410 first place prize.

Special mentions should go to Wai Kwan Yuen, who may well have strung up a series of tournament cashes stretching back to 2006 but couldn’t quite get over that final hurdle and bust in third, and Kami Hudson, who made back-to-back final tables after finishing third in the women’s event in Sanremo.
