George “jorj95” Lind is an absolute poker beast, not that you’d know it to meet him. He’s a nice as pie family man by day but you put him behind a monitor and a mouse and he’ll rack up PokerStars VPP points faster than, well, anyone else literally ever. Lind has clocked up more than 13 million VPPs which would be good for around 65 million FPPs or close to 21 Porsche Cayman S sports cars. Even Lind’s blog is titled ‘I Have More VPPs Than You’.
A documentary crew was sent to Lind’s home in Vancouver to find out what the six-time Supernova Elite is really like. He wasn’t the only one put under the microscope: fellow members of Team PokerStars Online Mickey “mement_mori” Petersen, Jorge “Ballim” Limon and Ike “Ike Haxton” Haxton have also had short films made about them.
Lind’s wife Deb (who blogs under the name “aka wifey”) often steps in to help write his blog, the links to which can be found in this article about Lind winning in poker and in life. Deb wrote:
“Videos of many of the Team Online players have already been released. So, back in July, we met with a film crew from PokerStars who flew to Vancouver for a week to shoot George’s video. They spent a couple of those days with us shooting one-on-one interviews and also various parts of our day in order to give an idea of a “A Day in the Life of Jorj95.
Not being a huge fan of seeing and hearing myself on camera, I was nervous about all this, but it actually turned out to be quite fun. Cooper went about his business as usual and wasn’t fazed by the camera equipment at all. And, thankfully, he was good about not touching any of it!!
I enjoyed hearing George talk about his early days of poker. And also, since photography is a personal hobby of mine, it was fun to see professionals at work. Plus, Ryan and his crew were easy to work with.”
Deb, who was pregnant during filming, has since given birth to twin girls Kaylee and Kelsie. Congratulations from all at PokerStars!
