You’ve been playing for hours. Your heart is pounding. You’re one elimination away from the money. You have 10 big blinds but can comfortably fold your way to the money. Every hand feels like it’s going on forever.

Why won’t someone bust already?!!

Then you’re dealt pocket queens, and someone opens. Two bigger stacks call.

What do you do?

THIS WEEK:

  • Playing on the bubble – big stack and short stack
  • New #Study4Stadium strategy articles

  • VIDEO: New MTT hand review

Playing on the bubble

Playing tournament poker on the bubble isn’t always easy. As the big stack, you want to keep the pressure on your opponents without losing many of your chips in the process. As a small stack, you want to make the money, but when a good spot to double up comes along, it’s hard to pass it up.

Thankfully, PokerStars School is on hand to help you work on your bubble play.

Brush up on your bubble strategy with Dave “TheLangolier” Roemer’s new series of articles.
