During the first seven days of Stadium Series, there were 178,220 entries to tournaments with buy-ins of precisely $5.50. That’s pretty cheap. But there’s absolutely nothing tiny about the first-place prizes, which grew as high as $12,570.

That’s what Russia’s “kovalalexroman” earned for taking down Heat 01-L. He did it from one $5.50 buy-in as well, representing an ROI of more than 225,000 percent.

As Stadium Series now enters its second week, the buy-in of the “low” ranking events increases to $11. But there will be another whole load of success stories, with incredible returns on investment. If you’ve been thinking about dipping your toe in the Stadium Series waters, this is a very good time to start.

Here’s your step-by-step guide to joining the Stadium Series party.

FIND STADIUM SERIES IN THE GAME SELECTOR

Whatever screen you are presented with when you first log into your PokerStars account, you can find Stadium Series with a maximum of two clicks.

1. Select “All Games” in the top left of your screen.
2. Select “Stadium Series” on the top right, below the Deal Jackpot counter.

You can then see all the tournaments in Stadium Series (and click “Show Upcoming Only” if you want to remove the ones that have already finished).

CHOOSE THE TOURNAMENT THAT INTERESTS YOU

If you’re only playing Stadium Series for the first time, the chances are you want to play one of the low buy-in events. You can see the buy-ins in the “Buy-In” column, and you can sort the list by clicking on the words “Buy-In”.

Then double-click the name of the tournament itself, which will take you through to the tournament lobby.

If you’re ready to sign up straight away, click “Play Now” and confirm your registration in the pop-up. The lobby shows the current prize pool total, which will always be no less than the stated guarantee.

SATELLITE IN ON THE CHEAP

The tournament lobby is where you can also see a list of satellites running for your chosen event.

The bottom of the screen has a list of upcoming satellites, telling you date/time, buy-in and how many seats are guaranteed. You can register directly to that satellite via the “Register To Satellite” button, or click “Go To Satellite” to see its tournament lobby.

Alternatively, you can find a list of satellite tournaments via the game selector bar towards the top of the screen.

You can click any of “Stadium Series Fast Track”, “MTT Satellites” or “SNG Satellites”, which will offer a full selection of entry paths to the Stadium Series events. Although the Fast Track is for the $5,200 Stadium Series final only, the steps start at $1.

And there you have it. It’s easy to get involved in Stadium Series, and there are at least three tournaments per day from now until August 2.
