In the 90 minutes since the bubble burst, 55 players have hit the rail. Among the fallen was WSOP and WPT champion Alex Gomes, who arrived with 35,600 in chips and hovered around that mark for most of the day. Although we missed the hand, we spotted a smiling Gomes approaching the payout desk and a rather dejected masseuse who just lost her biggest client of the day.

Three tables over, Bill Gazes led off what would be his final hand with a raise to 12,000. The big blind called and they saw a Kâ™  J♦ 8♣ flop. Both players checked to the turn, which fell the 4♥ . The big blind led out for 14,000 and Gazes called. The river brought the 5♣ and the big blind moved all-in, having Gazes covered. Gazes called and revealed Q♦ Q♥ , outflopped by the big blind’s K♣ 4♣ .

Meanwhile on the featured table, Jorge Limon made his last stand with K♦ Q♦ , three-bet shoving for 90,000 from the big blind. The button raiser called and his Aâ™  Jâ™  held up, ending Limon’s run.

Only a few hands later, Leo Fernandez moved all-in preflop for his last 96,000. Although his J♦ J♣ led through the turn vs. Pedro Soares’s A♣ Jâ™  , an ace spiked on the river to end his run at a second LAPT title. Fernandez’s elimination leaves Mexico’s Angel Guillen as the last Team Pro standing.
