Wrapping up yet another successful MicroMillions series, the seventh installment would feature Bobrovaflya’s 32 cashes going into the late tournaments tonight leading the Player of the Series race by 75 points over Deegaie and hel10s. Despite no final tables, Bobrovaflya will likely have 26 chances to claim a six-figure score during the Sunday Million over the next year. Tonight’s MicroMillions 7 Event #97 $11 NLHE Sunday Storm Special Edition would feature a nearly 11 hour battle for five five-figure prizes sitting up top. The final four would chop up the funds leaving the extra $6,000.00 to be won by laisserg who took the title and a total of $34,211.37.

Nine and half hours into the MicroMillions 7 Event #97 Sunday Storm special edition only 12 players remained. Carpediem91 would knock that total down to ten in back-to-back hands by eliminating Noisy_pl (11th place, $1,458.21) and Chete1913 (12th place, $1,458.21). Four hands later since no one else seemed interested in doing so, Carpediem91 would take of it just like taking care of Nosiy_pl and Chete1913.

With the blinds up to 400K/800K ante 80K shortstacked Skarabey would shove from the cutoff for nine million as it folded around to Carpediem91 who called from the big blind holding Jâ™  A♦ . Skarabey’s Q♥ K♥ found nary a heart nor a face on the 2♣ 6♣ 7â™  10♦ 8â™  board to start up the final table below:

Seat 4: KiLL-falou88 (27444134 in chips)
Seat 5: naum65 (10591223 in chips)
Seat 6: laisserg (55366664 in chips) out of hand

Seat 8: last_boss (10754704 in chips)
Seat 9: Mrstonehedge (12800435 in chips)

Lashing out back-to-back eliminations

Just eight hands into the final table with the blinds holding at 400K/800K ante 80K Mrstonehedge would raise to 2.4 million as laisserg was not so quaint and shoved for 56.7 million from the big blind. Holding pocket queens Q♣ Q♥ Mrstonehedge called all-in quickly but laisserg flipped up aces A♣ A♦ and the K♣ 2♠ K♦ 9♥ 10♥ board complied handing 23 million to laisserg and $1,952.52 to Mrstonehedge in ninth place.

On the next hand naum65 would shove 13.5 million chips over the top of KiLL-falou88’s min-raise. However, laisserg wanted to be a part of the party again and over-shoved for 68.7 million. KiLL-falou88 wanted to sit out this dance as laisserg showed pocket jacks J♣ Jâ™  . Facing off against queens Q♦ Qâ™  again, naum65 looked even more ripe for a double up flopping a set 4♣ Q♣ A♣ . But, the clubs kept coming and naum65 did not have one as the 3♣ turn and 6♦ river gave the new chip leader the 30.1 million chip pot and naum65 $3,311.87 in eighth place.

More back-to-back action

“Bad things come in threes” is a popular saying, what about things that come in twos? Like elimination from tournaments after playing for over ten hours. As the blinds moved up to 450K/900K ante 90K rycore03 would shove 5.05 million from middle position as KiLL-falou88 made the call from the cutoff holding Aâ™  Q♣ . rycore03’s A♥ J♦ got some life after the all diamond flop, but died when the turn and river A♦ 10♦ 3♦ 5♥ 4♥ ran dry earning rycore03 $4,859.06 in seventh place.

After the hand was done the table exploded with chatter about a chop, but there were cards and lots of chips hitting the pot that would alter such an agreement. Folded around to last_boss who would shove 17.2 million from the button holding pocket twos 2♣ 2♦ . The chip leader laisserg in the big blind however had no reason to fold pocket queens Q♦ Q♥ and made the call. A set for the queens 8♣ A♣ Qâ™  7â™  K♦ added the 36 million chip pot to laisserg’s total as last_boss earned $6,994.48 in sixth place.

Carpe diem to all

Despite some major five-handed chop talks for 20 minutes nothing solid came about as the cards went back up in the air. Three minutes later with the blinds moving up to 500K/1MM ante 100K Carpediem91 would min-raise from the button as BlUeMaGiK<3 three-bet to 4.88 million. Carpediem91 made the call to see a [3d][8h][Qh] flop. More eights on the bet as BlUeMaGiK<3 put out 2.88 million and Carpediem91 re-raised to 6.7 million. BlUeMaGiK<3 was not done and shoved for 18.1 million total. Carpediem91 made the call holding [Qs][Ac] having overcome the big slick [Ad][Kh] of BlUeMaGiK<3. The [Jc] turn and [8c] river sent BlUeMaGiK<3 off outside of the chop in fifth place ($10,479.37).

KiLL-falou88’s pocket queens Q♣ Qâ™  would take down Carpediem91’s Aâ™  10♥ on the 5♣ 4â™  7â™  10♣ 2â™  board as Carpediem91 took away $24,311.60 in fourth place.

laisserg takes the lead into heads-up play

With the blinds up to 700K/1.4MM ante 140K KiLL-falou88 would lead with a min-raise from the button as laisserg three-bet to seven million from the small blind. KiLL-falou88 answered with a shove for 35.4 million holding a suited king 3♥ K♥ . laisserg would make the call with A♥ J♦ and was rewarded with an ace on the flop 4♥ 3♠ A♠ 10♦ 9♠ knocking out KiLL-falou88 in third place ($18,616.71).

laisserg takes it home
