After 15 days, 50 events, and more than $2 million awarded, the 2020 Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker came to its exciting conclusion yesterday on PokerStars PA.
Guarantees for all PACOOP events totaled a little over $1.5 million. By the end, however, most events (45 of 50) exceeded their guarantees, and Pennsylvania players won $2,039,132.90 during the series.
There were more than 21,000 total entries in 2020 PACOOP events, including 1,013 in the two-day, $300 buy-in Main Event that wrapped up last night.
The Main Event had a $200K guarantee, but that big turnout meant a $283,640 prize pool was divided among the top 143 finishers. That was one of three six-figure prize pools during the series. Earlier during PACOOP, the two “Sunday Special” tournaments with $100 buy-ins also each awarded right around $100,000.
“LetMeWin3437” ultimately took the Main Event title, turning the $300 buy-in into a handsome $46,319.13 first prize.
LetMeWin3437 only entered one time in the re-entry event. In fact, LetMeWin3437 didn’t even have to put up the full buy-in, having won a $20 ticket in a Second Chance Freeroll which was then used to enter a satellite and win a Main Event entry.

Another player, “TryptophanMan,” also won two events in the series. And two others — “KennyTheRipper” and “AllinWithAJoff” — each won three PACOOP events.
The PACOOP is just the latest of several big tournament series PokerStars PA has hosted since first launching in early November 2019.
Others have included the first PACOOP in Nov.-Dec. 2019 in which just over $1.55 million was won, the Winter Series (Jan.-Feb. 2020), the PASCOOP (April), the Summer Series (June), and the Bounty Builder Series (July),
There have also been a couple of super-sized Pennsyl-MANIA events featuring the largest prize pools of any tournaments in the site’s history ($515K and $376K).
