As part of the PokerStars 10th Anniversary celebration, this weekend’s Sunday Storm will have a guarantee of $1 million. First place is guaranteed to get $150,000. Even better, there are going to be a ton of Team PokerStars Pros and members of Team Online in the event. Each of them will have $100 bounties on their heads.
You will have a chance at all of it for the exceedingly low price of $11. Not bad for a $1 million event, eh?
I just took a look at the registration numbers, and with two days to go, the event already has 26,000 people signed up. It’s going to be a monster Storm, the likes of which we haven’t seen in some time.
As you might know, the Sunday Storm began its time at PokerStars as the modestly-named Sunday 1/4 Million. Last summer, the event underwent a name and personality change. Now known as the Sunday Storm, it’s become appointment poker for thousands of people every Sunday.

For those of you who would prefer to spend less than $11 for your chance at riches, PokerStars is running satellites right now. You can find them all by looking under the 10th anniversary tab in the PokerStars events lobby. Failing that, just type the word “storm” in the tournament filter and go from there.
