Home / Uncategorized / PokerStars Festival London: Let’s party like it’s 1929

Poker players like to party, of that there is no doubt and last night those players attending the PokerStars Festival London had the chance to get on down. To do that they had to had to go deep into the underbelly of The Hippodrome Casino and travel back in time too.

Lola’s Underground Casino, which is located on the lower ground floor of The Hippodrome Casino, is styled on a 1920’s Speakeasy and named after a famous chorus girl of the era called Lola McGuire. It was a wild night, in which the venue ran out of draft beer and a good time was had by all. Our memory of the finer details is a little fuzzy, but they say a picture tells a thousand words…
