The 2013 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker is less than 48 hours from kicking off, and PokerStars has piled up $40 million in guaranteed prize money to pay out during the two-week festival.

Running May 12-26, SCOOP will feature 44 events each with three different buy-ins. That’s 132 championship tournaments in a 14-day span.

During that time, you’ll be able to play just about any poker variant you want. What’s more, this will be the first time ZOOM tournaments have appeared on the SCOOP schedule.

If you hurry, you can also get in on a 20% (up to $100) reload bonus. It’s available until 23:59 ET today (May 10) if you use the SCOOP2013 bonus code. For full details, see the SCOOP reload bonus page.

Not only will there be millions of dollars on the line, but the SCOOP Player of the Series will offer big prizes (read: a 2014 PCA package and more) for each buy-in level, and a Season 10 EPT Grand Final package to the overall winner.

As the festival plays out, we’ll be keeping a close eye on Alexander “AlexKP” Petersen and Jonathan “MONSTER_DONG” Karamalikis. Both men have WCOOP and TCOOP titles. A SCOOP win will give them the elusive Triple COOP crown.

The PokerStars Blog team is lined up with pots of coffee and unlimited bandwidth to cover every single SCOOP final table over the next two weeks. You can follow all of our reports in our special 2013 SCOOP coverage section.
