Final Table Line Up
Seat 1: Fresh_oO_D (5,000 in chips)
Seat 2: AngleZero (5,000 in chips)
Seat 3: Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford (5,000 in chips)
Seat 4: duubadaaba (5,000 in chips)
Seat 5: Rob_10108 (5,000 in chips)
Seat 6: rss777 (5,000 in chips)

rss777 burst out of the blocks with pocket kings against duubadaaba’s pocket queens. An ace on the river slowed the action to prevent duubadaaba losing the entire stack, but it was enough for rss777 to jump out to an early lead.

Fresh_oO_D got short but doubled up with ace-queen against Rob_10108’s open-ended straight draw with queen-jack, to put the pressure on Rob_10108. A short time later, Rob_10108 three-bet all in with K♦ Q♥ and duubadaaba made the call with 9♥ 9â™  . The race was on and Rob_10108 looked good for a double up when a lady appeared on the flop of 3♦ Qâ™  4♥ . Nothing changed on the 10♦ turn but a devastating 9♦ found its way onto the river to give duubadaaba a set and send Rob_10108 crashing to the rails. Rob_10108 would take home $6,428.16 for sixth place.

Fresh_oO_D would be next to fall after check-raising all in on a flop of 10â™  8♥ 8♣ . Fresh_oO_D held Kâ™  10♦ for top pair but Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford showed up with A♥ A♦ . The turn was the J♣ and river the 2â™  to see Fresh_oO_D out in fifth place for a five-figure return of $10,368.

With four players left it was a battle of Finland versus the United Kingdom. rss777 was out in front with duubadaaba on the short stack, but 1_conor_b_1 surged into the chip lead, turning two pair against his countryman’s top pair.

1_conor_b_1 kicked up the aggression with an interesting hand against AngleZero. 1_conor_b_1 three-bet preflop from the small blind, checked the flop before betting the turn and river. AngleZero called it down and 1_conor_b_1 showed king-six for not much until the river had paired his king.

AngleZero slipped to the short stack and with about fifteen big blinds, decided to move all in preflop with a pretty 8♥ 7♥ . 1_conor_b_1 made the call with 10♠ 10♣ and when the board ran out K♣ 8♣ 9♥ Q♦ 6♠ , AngleZero was left to depart in fourth place for a $15,552 score.

1_conor_b_1 was out to a big chip lead with over two-thirds of the chips in play as rss777 managed to stay alive with a double up with king-jack against duubadaaba’s pocket sixes.

1_conor_b_1 was trying to kick up the aggression as the big stack but it backfired when he three-bet shove with ten-eight and handed the double up to duubadaaba’s pocket kings. However that didn’t slow down 1_conor_b_1 who won the next nine pots in a row to again have the shorties in trouble.

Eventually they had to make a stand.

With around fifteen big blinds, rss777 moved all in from the small blind with J♦ 10♠ but 1_conor_b_1 made the call in the big blind with A♣ 3♣ . rss777 flopped a straight draw but there was no further help on the board of 7♣ 8♥ 8♣ 6♦ 2♥ . 1_conor_b_1 raked in another pot as rss777 had to be content with $23,328 for third place.

Heads-up Chip Counts
Seat 3: 1_conor_b_1 (26,660 in chips)
Seat 4: duubadaaba (3,340 in chips)

With an eight-to-one chip lead, 1_conor_b_1 was in great shape to claim the SCOOP title, but in poker it’s never over until it’s over!

duubadaaba landed a double up with king-nine against ace-three, and then took over the chip lead after turning a flush to crack 1_conor_b_1’s pocket aces.

Everything was going the way of duubadaaba and the final hand of the tournament confirmed that notion. duubadaaba three-bet all in with K♥ 10♠ and 1_conor_b_1 made the call with A♣ J♦ . Once again 1_conor_b_1 held the best of it but the cards would fall 6♠ K♣ 8♦ J♣ 9♠ and it was all over!
