Tuesday saw a full schedule of massive tournaments including Event 30-H with an $11 buy-in and $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament needed five-digits worth of entrants and they came out in force just like every event across the board.
By the time registration was closed, the entire field knew they had to outlast 18,191 other players to earn this SCOOP title. An impressive number that meant the tournament would be played out over two days. They made it quickly into the money with 2,475 getting paid but they were all aiming for the nearly $20,000 first place prize.
IBPK936 was leading when the clock was paused for the evening and the Moldovan had a little history on his side. IBPK936 finished 4th in a MicroMillions event this year in a similar +18,000 player field but the feat wasn’t matched this time around and IBPK936 was gone in 51st.
The final table was reached, mostly courtesy of quin0910, after two big hands. The first saw quin0910 put Belekaaaaaas at risk but behind with A♦J♦ against J♥J♠. The Q♦3♣2♠ flop was a glimpse of what was to come as the board completed 10♦K♦ to give quin0910 the running Royal Flush with 10 players remaining.
The final table was set two hands later when quin0910 won a nearly 10 million chip pot, this time in much less dramatic fashion. His A♠A♦ dominated J♠J♦ and flopped top set A♣4♣2♠. It took just two rounds of hand-for-hand action but the final table was set.

Lumololeida wastes no time, eliminated in 9th
Lumololeida and smyp1 were the only two players beneath the unholy 10 big blind mark and both put their chips in the middle on the first hand of the final table.
Lumololeida open shoved from the button, MIchal315 moved in over the top from the small blind, (quin0910 was sitting out until the small blind passed), and smyp1 called all-in.
MIchal315 could knockout two at once but needed to get lucky. The ducks stayed ahead on the Q♦7♦4♠ flop but smyp1’s flush draw hit the 6♦ turn. The hand knocked Lumololeida out in 9th place for $1,091 while smyp1 moved up to 7 million and MIchal315 dropped under 5 million.
smyp1 races against quads, eliminated in 8th
smyp1 had plenty of chips after knocking out Lumololeida but was still pushing them around at the final table. He found a way to get them in for a coin flip but it went south in a hurry.
It began with a min-raise by MIchal315 and smyp1 moved all-in with A♦J♣ and MIchal315 called with 8♠8♥. It wasn’t much of a race when the K♠8♣3♥ flop left smyp1 drawing super thin then dead on the 3♣ turn. The overkill quad 8♦ came on the river and smyp1 was gone in 8th place for $1,637.
lee20252 can’t catch up, eliminated 7th
No one at the final table could claim to have “heaps of chips” but lee20252 wasn’t hurting when his bad hand came up. He was sitting with over 10 million when action folded to Xandee1991 in the small blind. He shoved as his option and lee20252 called with A♥9♣.
Xandee1991 had lee20252 at risk but behind with K♣3♠ then jumped ahead on the K♥5♦3♦ flop. lee20252 had a chance to counterfeit Xandee1991’s two pair when the turn came 5♣ but the river blanked 10♦. Xandee1991 picked up the pot while lee20252 was gone in 7th place for $2,728.

maiconbit aces out, eliminated in 6th
maiconbit found himself involved in the biggest pot of the tournament and it was yet another coin flip for big money. maiconbit open shoved second to act for 7.5 million with 3♠3♦ and quin0910 called in the small blind with A♥9♠.
maiconbit had the lead to start the hand but quin0910 jumped ahead on the A♦8♦7♠ flop. The 8♥ turn changed nothing and the 6♠ river shut down the tournament for maiconbit, sending him out in 6th place for $4,548.
M45T3RB055 down in another race, eliminated in 5th
They weren’t slowing down and post-flop play was a lost art at this point in the tournament. Two players again had their chips in the middle pre-flop without an early dominator.
M45T3RB055 moved all-in for 8.4 million with 4♠4♣ and MIchal315 was the one to call this time around, his turn from the big blind with Q♣J♠. Another race was on and again the flop switched the advantage when it dropped Q♥5♣3♦. M45T3RB055 needed a lot of help but missed as it completed 3♠2♣ to send the Finnish grinder out in 5th place for $6,367.
Xandee1991 doubles before busting, eliminated in 4th
Xandee1991 was active throughout the final table, with virtual chips flying all over the place. He doubled up through quin0910 with Fives before getting involved again a few hands later.
This time it wasn’t an insta-shove but a min-raise to start things off. SKobold responded with a three-bet to 4.1 million and Xandee1991 moved all-in for effectively 20 million with A♥8♦. SKobold quickly called with the better A♠Q♥ and Xandee1991 missed the J♣J♠4♠ flop. The Q♦ turn locked it up and Xandee1991 was gone in 4th place for $8,186.
quin0910 falls short, eliminated in 3rd
They went three entire hands without another all-in called but that trend didn’t stick. quin0910 made an interesting move at the three-handed table and it almost worked out.
quin0910 opened for a min-raise on the button and MIchal315 three-bet to 4 million in the small blind. SKobold let his hand go and quin0910 shoved with 10♣9♦ and MIchal315 called with A♠8♠.
quin0910 missed the Q♦J♠5♦ flop but picked up an open-ended straight draw. MIchal315 added top pair on the A♣ turn to leave quin0910 with just the draw. The 2♦ rivered blanked for quin0910 to send him out in 3rd place for $11,824.
Seat 3: SKobold (43,189,618 in chips)
Seat 6: MIchal315 (47,770,382 in chips)
Blinds: 400k/800k with 100k ante
SKobold sits back and walks away with Event 30-L title
It started as a pretty tight heads up match but SKobold grabbed the lead on the first hand of play with a 17 million chip pot. They then settled in for a long battle which took nearly 40 hands to determine a winner.
It was a back and forth match with MIchal315 getting closer to SKobold before the final hand when they were separated by just a few big blinds. It began when SKobold min-raised and called after MIchal315 three-bet to 5,000,000
MIchal315 bet another 5,125,000 after the Q♥10♠7♦ flop, SKobold called, and it was another 10,250,000 from MIchal315 on the Q♠ turn. SKobold was content to let MIchal315 do all the heavy lifting with another call before the 8♦ river and MIchal315 shoved for his final 23,500,000.
It was a quick call from SKobold who was sitting pretty with 7♥7♠ for the full house against MIchal315’s trip Queens Q♦6♥. It was a heads up cooler and MIchal315 had to settle for $15,463 in runner-up money. SKoblod outlasted a huge field to win his first major online title, the $19,632 that went along with it, and a nice custom watch.
