Event #30-L was a lightning-quick event that went from 2,622 players to a champion in just about five hours. 

The 6-Max, Turbo, Zoom format helped miomiomy79 put the tournament away quickly, but our champion was also partly responsible for the tournament’s expediency. miomiomy79 eliminated two players on the final table bubble and brought the tournament from three players to just one in a few hands.

Aside from the fancy SCOOP watch, miomiomy79’s victory came with a $7,858.73 payday. Not bad for a few hours’ work and a stunted final table.

The final table bubble went on for more than 10 minutes. It was basically an eternity considering the pace and format of the tournament. But after a few double ups, the bubble burst with maximum force.

In the last multi-table hand of the event, zog85 moved all-in for 804,345 and miomiomy79 called. rodmarcos reshoved for 2.1 million and miomiomy79 called again.

The 9♦ 7♣ J♣ 8♥ A♠ board gave miomiomy79 a jack-high straight and two eliminations.

PartyTownUSA doubled up on the first hand of play, but doubled up Abbe77 a few hands later. 

In a hand of 5-Card Omaha, PartyTownUSA raised to 1.5 million from the small blind and Abbe77 called from the big blind. Both players checked the 7♣ 3♦ K♥ flop and PartyTownUSA moved all-in when the 9♣ came on the turn.

Abbe77 called and showed Q♠ Q♣ J♥ 10♣ 6♥ to PartyTownUSA’s A♣ 9♠ 4♥ J♦ 5♠ . A K♦ completed the board and Abbe77 doubled to 7.2 million with kings and queens while PartyTownUSA dropped to 688,272.

The party came to an end two hands later.

PartyTownUSA moved all-in from the cutoff and both Schoebinho and sorenj1988 called from the blinds.

Both players checked down the 9♠ A♠ J♠ Q♥ 3♠ board and sorenj1988 took the pot with a flush. Schoebinho showed two pair while PartyTownUSA faded out in 5th place.

PartyTownUSA won $2,252.95 while sorenj1988 took the lead with 8.8 million. 

Then Abbe77 eliminated a player and snatched the lead away. 

Abbe77 raised to 1.8 million from the small blind and Schoebinho moved all-in for 2.4 million from the big blind. Abbe77 called with a straighty and flushy looking 7♠ 6♠ 5♣ 4♣ while Schoebinho showed a pair of pairs, K♠ K♥ 3♣ 3♦ .

The J♦ 9♥ 10♠ 4♠ 6♥ board didn’t bring Abbe77 any straights or flushes, but it did give the player two-pair. Abbe77 took the lead with 10.5 million while Schoebinho won $3,540.35 for the 4th place finish.

Abbe77 moved all-in for 4.5 million and miomiomy79 called. Abbe77 showed a set of fours with 9♣ 9♠ 4♠ 4♣ , but miomiomy79 had a flush with 9♥ 5♥ K♠ 3♠ . Abbe77 won $7,769.58 for finishing 3rd while the tournament went heads up.
