STADIUM SERIES NEWS BULLETIN
Heat-19 was a No Limit Hold âem 6-Max event running at buy-ins of $22, $215 and $2,100. With huge prize pools, the higher stakes mid-week heat offered big scores up top and attracted top pros to the field.
Regs abound in tough Heat 19-H final table: With a $2,100 buy-in, we expected the high stakes heats to attract top talent, and 19-H did not disappoint. Among those on the final table were Simon âC. Darwin2â Mattsson, âAnjeyyyâ and âwonderboy222â, all big name pros and feared opposition in anyoneâs books. None of these players made the top few spots, but life didnât get any easy as the game progressed. In the end, Polandâs âRadogoszczâ made a heads-up deal with Michiel âutregâ Brummehuis from the Netherlands. Brummehuis has been on the circuit a long time, with big wins dating back to 2011 and a recent SCOOP title to his name. He finished second for $79,226. Radogoszcz, whoâs previous results include a SCOOP title and regular High Roller Club wins, locked up first place for a whopping $89,216.
âKo5tâ outlasts final table of Brazilians to win Heat 19-L: Four out of the six final table players in the 19-L hailed from Brazil, a demonstration of a country whoâs love for and knowledge of poker is clearly on the rise. Despite this, âko5tâ from Russia outlasted them all after striking a deal with second place âdarkziuâ. Both took a similar amount, with ko5t earning slightly more for finishing first, a score of $23,243 in total.
