Another day, another half a million dollars given away in the Stadium Series. As the weekend of the first Finals draws closer, we take a look at the winners from the Heat 05 events, as well as stats, Twitch highlights and more…
Heat 05 results
In yesterday’s Stadium Series results, all three of the Heat 04 tourneys ended with deals. Last night no deals were made, with every game playing out to its bitter sweet end. Here’s how it went down in the Heat 05 tourneys:
Kaloryfer147 claims high stakes heat: “Kaloryfer147” from Germany had a decent final table result in the Summer Series Supersonic this year, as well as continues results in MTTs like the Bigs. Last night they earned themselves their biggest ever win by a long shot, earning $44,624 in the Heat 05-H. “$aymon9” from Brazil wasn’t far behind. They’ve been racking up five figure wins all year, including a SCOOP final table and first place in the Summer Series 119. They picked up second place in the Heat 05-H for a more than respectable $32k.
vintra88 makes it through table full of Brazilians: Four of the final table players in the Heat 05-M hailed from Brazil, which is quite incredible when you consider that this was a 6-max tourney. It looked almost inevitable that one of the Brazilians would pull through, but “vintra88” from the Netherlands pulled through to score by far their personal best, $32,748 for first. “DaviMMaker” was the last Brazilian on the table, finishing second for $22,816, with Russian “zyxel888” coming second for $15,898.
danalberto321 makes 1590x buy-in for 06-L win: One Brazilian player did earn a title in the heats. “danalberto321” finished first in the 06-L for $8,743 – a huge boost to bankroll and esteem for the low stakes grinder. “BikeForever$” from the UK was chip leader when the Heat when on break at the end of Day 1, and maintained a decent stack throughout Day 2 before crashing out one short of the top spot. Still, they earn $6,080 for second.

From Monday, the PokerStars Twitch Channel will be running cards-up coverage of the Stadium Series. Tune it to see online action like you’ve never seen it before, with commentary from James Hartigan and Joe Stapes, who’ll also be joined by legendary poker pro Sam Grafton.
Spraggy and Lex were both streaming the Heat 05s live. Spraggy made excellent calls in both the $55 and $5.50 Heats before crashing out of both. Lex cashed in the $55 Heat, losing a coinflip and finishing in 165th place. Here’s Spraggy refusing to fall for any tricks…
