Home / Uncategorized / The Hub of the Wheel – Why join a poker forum?

Think of PokerSchoolOnline as a big bicycle wheel, with each spoke leading to a distinct area such as live training, poker courses or friendly league competitions, then right in the middle of that circle, where all the spokes converge at the hub, you’ll find the poker forum. It’s the village pump, the town hall, the local pub of the school where you can meet and hangout with fellow citizens of our lively poker community. It’s the place where you’ll find the latest news and discussions on upcoming and current events – essentially, it’s where you’ll find the beating heart of this vibrant poker community.

You’ll find top pros like ‘nanonoko’ and ‘xflixx’ posting their thoughts on poker hands posted there by school members and you too can ask questions and post hands for feedback and analysis. Many life-long friendships evolved in the school forums, and we’ll claim at least one marriage!

If you’re new to the poker school then the place to start is the New Members section. Here you can ask any questions to help you get the most from the school, and you can introduce yourself to your fellow members. You’ll find that both staff and members will extend a nice warm welcome and help you find your feet.

As we’re all here to continually improve our game, you’ll see a good proportion of the forum is devoted to strategy discussions, with each game type having its own section. You can spend all the time you like here studying previous postings and the responses, picking up valuable knowledge along the way. And when you have your own particular question about a hand you played, or a playing style, or something you saw during a game, you can post it up and benefit from responses from poker trainers and fellow students alike. It’s a very useful addition to the poker course material elsewhere in the site.

There’s even a section where you can calmly discuss variance, or alternatively (and more usually!) blow your top over a bad beat. But that’s what it’s there for, a place to let off steam over the more infuriating aspects of this game we love.

So if you’re a newbie, if you want to catch up on the latest buzz, if you need help with your game, then the PokerSchoolOnline Poker Forum is the place to be.
