There were eight events running on Day 3 of the Turbo Series, with a total of over $1.5 million given out in prizes. Let’s jump right in with the highlights.

One of the great features of the Turbo Series is that events run at a range if different buy-ins levels, making it accessible for players of differing bankrolls. Event 12 was an $11 buy-in PKO, and the low entry fee attracted 7,798 players.

nikio21”, who had already had previous success in low stakes MTTs, converted their $11 into their biggest win ever. They earned $4,467 for first place, also scoring another $2,785 in bounties.

Event 13 took the same PKO format, this time with a $109 buy-in, making for a prize pool of over $200k. SCOOP titlest “Glash0” from Romania earned $13,143 for first, plus an additional $11,547 bounties.

The $215 Event brought 5-Stack action. In this unusual variation, players have five stacks of 10,000 chips. They can bring these into play at any time, with all remaining stacks brought in after 16 levels. This makes for deep stack action and plenty of room for manoeuvre. “petrofv5501” from Russia prevailed, earning $29,586 for first.

It was later on in the night that Day 3 of the Turbo Series really got to the business end of the table. The $55 Event 16 reached a total prize pool of $337k. Hungarian player “AlwaysSlowly” picked up an incredible $53,449 for first.

The biggest Turbo Series tournament of the night was Event 18. The $530 PKO reached a prize pool of a touch over half a million. “fcrscccc” from Norway came first for $35k, plus an additional $35k in bounties. “aaldert-92”, who already won a Turbo Series title on Day 1, came second for $35k, plus $17k in bounties.
