Home / News / Turbo Series reminder: Action gets started Sunday!

The regular PokerStars weekend schedule is complemented this Sunday with the start of Turbo Series. This is your friendly reminder: DON’T MISS IT!

In case you’ve had your head in the sand, a reminder of what’s in store: Turbo Series features 134 tournaments over 15 days, with more than $25 million guaranteed in prizes. Buy-ins range from $11 to $5,200, with pretty much everything in between, and there’s an enormous slate of variants on offer.

What all tournaments have in common is their duration. They’re quick. This is the Turbo Series and there’s no such thing as a Day 2. (Heck, some tournaments won’t even stretch into a second hour.) This is the series for anybody who likes their tournaments done quickly, but who doesn’t want any change in the bottom line.

There are heaps more details in the announcement post, on the schedule page, on the deep dive into the tournament schedule, and in the Turbo Series practice manual. Fill your boots.

More specifically, here’s the schedule for the series’ opening day, Sunday February 21:

10:00 – Event #1 $55 NLHE, Series Starter, $100K Gtd
11:30 – Event #2 $11 NLHE, 8-Max, PKO, Hyper, $100K Gtd
13:00 – Event #3 $5,200 NLHE, 8-Max, $750K Gtd
14:30 – Event #4 $215 NLHE, $500K Gtd

17:30 – Event #8 $530 NLHE, 6-Max, Sunday Supersonic SE, Hyper, $350K Gtd

(All times are ET)

As you can see, there’s at least one event at every price point, with the biggest guarantee attached to the tournament with the biggest buy-in. The $5,200 8-Max is a kind of unofficial high roller event, costing the same as the Main Event to enter.

It seems highly likely that all of these tournaments will beat their guarantees, so why not get involved right from the start.

We’ll be publishing a daily update throughout the series, so be sure to check out the dedicated Turbo Series page for all the news.
