It’s all over, folks, but what a World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) it has been.
Every single night (apart from the days off on Fridays) we’ve been glued to Twitch watching members of Team PokerStars battle through big fields, sweating the highs and lows, and in a couple of cases, winning WCOOP titles — but we’ll get to that in a moment.
First, here’s a look at the 10 biggest scores from Team PokerStars streamers throughout the series:
Lex Veldhuis – $172,792 ($107,948 + $64,843 in bounties)
2nd in WCOOP 80-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, High Roller]
Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot – $108,729
1st in WCOOP 75-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, Midweek Freeze]
Ben “Spraggy” Spragg – $67,968 ($30,484 + $37,484)
1st in WCOOP 83-H: $1,050 NLHE [7-Max, Turbo, Progressive KO, Freezeout]
Lex Veldhuis – $61,152
5th in WCOOP 34-M: $2,100 NLHE [8-Max]
Ben “bencb789” Rolle – $25,601
10th in WCOOP 14-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller]
Fintan “easywithaces” Hand – $20,118
7th in WCOOP 97-H: $2,100 NLHE [8-Max, Super Tuesday SE]
Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot – $16,001
14th in WCOOP 04-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller]
Ben “bencb789” Rolle – $15,774 ($5,040 + $10,734)
9th in WCOOP 16-H: $2,100 NLHE [7-Max, PKO]
Arlie “Prince Pablo” Shaban – $15,738 ($12,707 + $3,031)
4th in WCOOP 54-H: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Turbo, Progressive KO, Freezeout]
Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot – $12,880
3rd in WCOOP 39-H: $1,050 Razz [8-Max]
The first member of Team PokerStars to break through with a title was Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot, who picked up his second piece of WCOOP silverware with his victory in the $5,200 Midweek Freeze (75-H).
As it always is in a $5K buy-in, this event was stacked with the toughest players in the game.
Tonkaaaa took out one of them–Patrick “pads1161” Leonard–in fortunate fashion.
But before that, he picked up a big stack with a straight versus two pair.
Tonkaaaa would take it down to three, giving himself the chip lead.
And heads-up, he ran this huge triple-barrel bluff.
He was flipping for the title in this hand. Alas, it didn’t go his way.
But in the end, there was nothing left for Tonkaaaa to do but demand his trophy.
For his victory, Tonkaaaa banked $108,729 and his second WCOOP title (his first came last year in a $530 PKO). He then railed his good pal Ben “Spraggy” Spragg who was deep in another WCOOP event, and the run good continued…
With Tonkaaaa on call during his stream, Spraggy was making a run of his own in the $1K Turbo PKO (83-H). When Tonkaaaa first jumped on, Spraggy had just four big blinds but made an incredible comeback to reach the final table.
From there, it was all about winning bounties and laddering pay jumps.
In this hand, Spraggy thought it was all over…for about half a second, as a miraculous river card saved the day.
It’s never easy, though, and this hand cost him around $20K.
But Spraggy was able to bounce back and, needless to say, he had the last laugh.
He then survived this ‘too many outs’ situation to take it heads-up.
And with this, it really was all over.
On the same day that Tonkaaaa picked up his second title, Spraggy did the same, collecting $30,848 plus $37,484 in bounties. He won his first WCOOP trophy in 2020 for $4,349, making it two in consecutive years.
But for some reason, the pair had a feeling that Lex Veldhuis was going to pip them. “Somehow Lex is going to one-up us,” predicted Tonkaaaa.
He was very nearly right.
Lex Veldhuis has a habit of stealing the show during a big series, but while he clinched the biggest streamer score of WCOOP, he fell just short of a title this time.
The night after Tonkaaaa and Spraggy’s success, Lex was battling on the final table of the $10K PKO High Roller (80-H) against the cream of the crop.
He was the first to KO a player on the final table and it happened to be one of the best in the business, Andras “probirs” Nemeth. With this, he won a huge $21K bounty.
This hand took it down to four and saw Lex collect even more.
Lex reached the heads-up against the exceptional Yuri “theNERDguy” Martins and it took a rough set-up to end it, but he was over the moon with the result.
Lex banked $172,792 ($107,948 + $64,843 in bounties) for the biggest tournament score of his incredible poker career.
Got second in the $10k WCOOP for $172,800. My biggest score in online MTT's in my entire career. Over the moon right now. What a feeling. Thanks for the support throughout the series everyone <3 pic.twitter.com/4LFdFW6kAI

Fintan “easywithaces” Hand made his third WCOOP FT of the series last night, but it wasn’t to be.
Wistern cashes the $5K Main.
Arlie reaches yet another FT thanks to this huge pot.
But he’d have to settle for another 4th and $10,930.
GJReggie loses with a straight versus Arlie’s quads.
Bencb wins huge pot in the $10K, but does he know?
Huge hand between Xflixx and Lex in $5K Main.
Amazing start to the $5K for Pyefacepoker.
The cutest thing Majincast has seen in his life.
