We told you it was going to be a big weekend on PokerStars, and it was. For starters, just check out these final table finishes from more than 50 of the top tournaments on PokerStars this weekend.
And that was before we even started thinking about the fact that Zedd, one of the world’s most popular DJs, is going to be playing and performing at the PokerStars Championship Barcelona.
Chief among all the big results from the weekend? Well, we are just about to learn just who will win this summer’s MicroMillions Main Event.
More than 69,000 people entered the $22 MicroMillions Main Event on Sunday. More than 16,000 people re-entered after going bust. By the time registration closed, the prize pool was worth a ridiculous $1.7 million.
Now fewer than 800 players remain. They are all in the money, and each one of them is eying a first prize worth nearly $150,000.
Here’s how the top of the leaderboard looks as Day 2 gets ready to begin.
Play restarts at 2pm ET and will continue until there is a winner tonight.
We’ll have a full wrap-up of the Main Event once we know our winner.
