If you think there is a let down when somebody finishes third in the World Series of Poker Main Event, you’re probably right. (I wouldn’t know, now would I?).

However, if you think that letdown is so bad it keeps a guy from enjoying a Sunday major win, that’s where you’d be wrong.

You might recognize this guy. It’s only been a few weeks since he won a boatload of money after he finished third at the WSOP November Nine.

That was Jorry van Hoof last night after he won the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up. It may not have been as much money as he won for that recent third place, but there is something about a win that seems to have put a smile on the guy’s face.
