Omaha Hi/Lo rules

The rules are slightly different in Omaha than in Hold'em. In Omaha, you must use exactly two hole cards and exactly three board cards to create the best hand you can.

Omaha Hi/Lo is played with an 8-or-better qualifier, which means that a low hand must consist of five different cards - ranked 8 or below - to be eligible to win the low portion of the pot. If there's no qualifying low hand, the high hand wins the entire pot.

When evaluating a low hand, you should arrange your cards in order from highest to lowest. The highest card is the most important one in determining the winner. If there's a tie, then it's the second-highest card, and so on.

For example, two separate hands A,2,3,5,7 and 2,3,4,5,6, would be arranged 7,5,3,2,1 and 6,5,4,3,2 respectively. An Ace is represented as a 1. In this example, the second hand is lower than the first, once read in the correct order, making it the winner.
