If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the past fortnight, as record-breaking fields arrived at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile for the France Poker Series (FPS) and European Poker Tour (EPT), it’s this:
People in France love to play poker. Moreover, people from all around the world love to come to France to play poker.
If you’re one of them–or you think you would be if you ever got the chance–here’s some good news.
The FPS schedule for 2023 was announced today, boasting big guarantees, new locations and familiar favourites.

NEW VENUES AND BIG GUARANTEES
Notable features of the tour include the FPS Namur stop, where PokerStars is sponsoring the Belgian Poker Challenge and awarding a €1M GTD across all events. There’s a whopping €750,000 guarantee on the Main Event, plus a High Roller with at least €100,000 in the prize pool.
That event is followed by a return to the capital for FPS Paris in July, when players will gather at the famous rugby stadium Stade Jean Bouin to battle it out for the lion’s share of a guaranteed €1 million Main Event prize pool.
Each stop on the FPS has a €1,100 buy-in Main Event and a €2,200 buy-in High Roller, but if those amounts are too big for your bankroll, fear not.
Online satellites for all France Poker Series 2023 festivals will run on the PokerStars .COM, .FR and .ES clients in the lead-up to the event, with both seat-only packages (valued at €1,100) and seat + expenses packages (valued at €1,500) up for grabs.
