First reaction to winning: I was laughing. I thought it was hilarious because I actually think 6+ Hold’Em is a stupid game and also I am super clueless in it but at the same time felt like I had a huge edge.

The hand you remember most: A lot of hands are still very fresh in my memory. I coolered my opponent in the final hand with A8 vs his Q8 on a KQ88A board, obviously no skill whatsoever that went into that one. But also shoutout to the guy with the “xflixx” avatar who thought we were playing NLHE and stacked off infinite chips with 88 preflop earlier which was how I got my big stack for the first time.

How lucky you got on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being very lucky): 3. Obviously, you need serious luck to win a huge field tournament like this, especially in a game you barely know the rules to. But at the same time, people seemed to be excited to give me free chips by folding to small bets or raises throughout the entire tournament.

Any close calls (when you nearly busted): I’m sure I won a bunch of flips, but let’s be honest I didn’t pay much attention until I was very deep. I won KK vs AA for most of my chips at around 13 left, skillfully flopped a set and turned quads for good measure.

Number of players left when you first thought “I can win this”: When I max late regged for fun (twice). I always assume I’m the best player and on top of that I have that German rungood too.

Any plans for the money?: I’m gonna be in Prague soon and I’m gonna spend the entire $2000 on the famous Prague experience if you know what I mean.

Favourite type of games you usually play: I play everything and everyone.

What’s your previous biggest win?: I’m so glad you asked. I got second in the Sunday Storm once for $15,800 and I like to mention this as often as possible.

Word(s) that describes the final table: S**tfest (sorry for cursing lol). It was very obvious to me that no one including me had ever even played a 6+ Hold ‘Em tournament before which made for terrible but entertaining poker.

The person you told first when you won: A lot of my friends were railing the Final Table so I didn’t have to tell them but I did put out a mandatory tweet to brag about it, something I like to do a lot.

Word(s) that describes your playing style: Arrogant. It is based on the assumption that everyone sucks and I try to get away with the dumbest stuff until someone stops me.

Years have you played poker: Somewhat regularly for around 6 years.

First reaction to winning: That was insane! Only those who know my plans could imagine how good that was for me. I really felt so many thing at the same time, no better feeling until this moment on my little career. I sent some messages to a couple of important people. And I ran around the house with the newest member of our family — a two-month-old puppy called ACES ♠️, who has only been living with us for two weeks. LoL Looks like he brought me lots of luck!

The hand you remember most: It was pocket aces and I lost against a suited A-5, all-in pre-flop, I guess we were around 150 players left. I remember it because it’s a huge field and I know that we will put our tournament life on the line so many times, so when you get a showdown with much a big edge like this, for me these are the ones that you can’t afford to lose. I lost but I still had 10 big blinds and still believed that it was possible to get through such a huge field. That was the main thing I learned playing yesterday, even when you get a big bad beat, you should keep focused and do your best with what you have left.

How lucky you got on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being very lucky): I would say 2.5 on this scale. I don’t think I had great luck because to win a tournament you need to run so good anyway. I had so many good showdowns when I put my tournament life on the line, I don’t even remember giving a big bad beat, and usually in a tournament this large that will happen. But I can say as well that I didn’t get many coolers against. So I had some nice luck too.

Number of players left when you first thought “I can win this”: Around 25 players, I played very well around and got within a few big blinds of the cheap leader.

Any plans for the money? Investing on my poker career. I just started as a professional poker player in the beginning of 2019, so I have so much to learn before thinking about any thing else.

Favourite type of games you usually play: Any NL hold’em, but more close to the regular structures, I do not like hyper tournaments.

What’s your previous biggest win? Before yesterday I won a Big Five on PokerStars Spain, but in money I guess it was a 4th place in a Hotter $7.50, paying almost $1,000.
