When PokerStars welcomed Vanessa Selbst to its Pro stable earlier this year, it knew she was a winner. High profile victories, most recently in the NAPT Mohegan Sun main event in April, would confirm that, and it would not be long before she added to her impressive tournament record.

Sure enough, Selbst bagged $227,000 at last month’s EPT London High Roller event, coming fourth in a field stacked with the world’s best players. Now, she has added her biggest cash to date, winning the Partouche Poker Tour main event in Cannes, France for a stunning $1.8 million!

The event, with more than 760 entries, was played out in September and returned this weekend for a final table (in other words, a similar format to the current WSOP November 9).

Congratulations to Vanessa, who now has more than $3.8 million in lifetime tournament winnings.
