Home / News / Important local Covid-related guidance for players travelling to EPT Prague

Here is some important news if you plan on travelling to our European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague this coming December. We kindly ask our players to take note of the details below as they will be crucial to your experience.

The latest Coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions in Prague require all players attending EPT Prague to provide proof of current Valid Vaccination or Recovery certificate (not older than 180 days).

All players in Prague must present a recognized COVID-19 vaccination certificate on arrival in Prague and the Czech Republic.

The Czech Republic recognizes COVID-19 vaccination certificates approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and World Health Organization (WHO).

This covers certificates issued by EU+ countries (EU, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, Vatican), UK and USA, among others. For further details, the Czech Ministry of Health publishes a list of recognized COVID-19 vaccination certificates.

Visitors must also carry a digital or printed copy of the certificate. Anyone visiting Prague must also have had a second dose at least 14 days before arrival or have a recovery certificate (not older than 180 days).

As we work with local and current guidance in step with the casino, we are making every effort to create awareness for our community of how local updates impact our events, so there is time to make any decisions necessary and players are prepared upon arrival. The situation is dynamic and although the health and safety of our staff and players is our number one priority, the experience at our events is extremely important to us. We appreciate this might cause complications for some players, but we look forward to welcoming those who plan to attend back to Prague for what will be a welcome return for the European Poker Tour.
