Two hundred sixty-five players crowded into Casino Perla this week for the Italian Poker Tour’s first Season 7 stop in Nova Gorica. One of them, Matteo Mutti, walked away with the title and lion’s share of the €257,050 prize pool.

Mutti’s win earned him €60,000 and Nova Gorica crown.

Heads-up against fellow Italian Christian Favale, Mutti called in with Q5 vs. Favale’s A9.

Mutti’s heads up opponent was former PokerStars Team Online Christian Favale, from Italy, who took second place for Euro 36,000. The board ran out K5J85 to give Mutti the win, the cash, and a nice PokerStars watch.

The IPT’s next stop will be in Malta 21 – 25 October 2015 where it will join with the European Poker Tour for a massive two-week-long festival. You can win packages on PokerStars right now that award €1,100 IPT buy-ins and €400 for expenses.
