If you didn’t Gerry Dee him at the PCA, now you have a chance.

After making it to Day 2 at this year’s PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, Canadian comedian Gerry Dee talked a little smack to the Team Pros he out-lasted:

“Busted after u “@jasonmercier @realkidpoker @vanessarousso, @vanessaselbst @jonathanduhamel @cmoneymaker. Happy to give you advice #PCA10”

…he went on to bust the same day.

Dee had some time to interview Boris Becker

Still, not a bad performance for his first major poker event! His performance at the PCA isn’t the only thing the comedian has to be excited about. While he was at the PCA, the premier episode of the second-season of his hit show “Mr. D” aired, then he came home to find out he was nominated for two Canadian Screen Award nominations. All of this took place, just as Gerry was hitting the road for his stand-up comedy tour “The Real Mr. D.” Now, in the spirit of offering players the most unique and exclusive prize experiences, PokerStars is running tournaments for Canadian players where they can win a trip to Toronto for a private meet-and-greet with Gerry and tickets to his stand-up show.

There are three prize packages available, which include flights to Toronto, tickets to see Gerry’s The Real Mr. D show, a private meet-and-greet, hotel accommodation and $500 spending money.

Freeroll tournaments run every evening from January 7-March 30 (times listed below). Each nightly tournament will award three players with a seat to a monthly final. The finals will be played at 18:00 ET on February 3, March 3 & 31. (You can also buy-in directly to the finals for just $0.99, or purchase a ticket from the VIP Store for only 80 FPPs.) In addition to awarding a prize package to the winner, each of the three finals will also have an added prize pool of $300.

Schedule for Freeroll tournaments:

Monday-Friday: 20:00 ET
Saturday-Sunday: 18:00 ET

To find the freerolls and register, open the PokerStars lobby and click ‘Tourney’ > ‘Regional’.

There’s more information on the Meet Gerry tournaments available at the Meet Gerry information page.
