Some weekends are just about poker. As summer gives way to autumn, the first snows start to fall, and the live tournament scene has taken an ever-so-brief respite, it’s easy to slip back in bed with that old familiar lover known as PokerStars.
Or something like that.
It was again another big weekend on the world’s largest online poker site. Millions of dollars were awarded over two otherwise meaningless days in October.
The biggest single prize went to France’s sumai who took down the Sunday Million without cutting a deal and won $225,000 for one day of work. You can read all about the weekend’s biggest achievement in Jen Newell’s 10-11-09 Sunday Million report.
In earlier action, Maudi138tt stormed through the Sunday Warm-Up. After cutting a good deal, first place was worth nearly $120,000. David Aydt covered the final table and gave us the 10-11-09 Sunday Warm-Up report.

Congratulations to all of this week’s winners, and good luck to all in the coming week.Back to Top
